Dr. Eman Aboseeda
Consultant Psychiatrist
Dr. Eman is an experienced and skilled consultant psychiatrist with over 20 years’ experience in mental and general hospitals. She is gentle, helpful and understanding, and performs a detailed history and examination, leading to a precise and comprehensive diagnosis.
In 2008, she qualified as an Arab Board Psychiatrist. Prior to that, she completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 1997 and her Master’s Degree in Neuropsychiatry in 2004, both from Ain Shams University, Egypt.
After completing her primary medical degree, in 1998 she started her professional journey with Aim Shams University Hospital in the Neuropsychiatry Department. She then gained experience in various hospitals in Egypt in different psychiatry departments, including general psychiatry, forensic, addiction, geriatric psychiatry, outpatient clinic, and inpatient wards.
Dr. Eman developed her interest in child and adolescent psychiatry after doing her master’s and became the head of the Child Psychiatry Unit at Abbassia Hospital for Mental Health in Egypt from 2009-2011.
She also has 8 years of intensive clinical psychiatry practice at the King Fahd Armed Forces Hospital in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Eman has also provided training to young psychiatrists, mainly in the field of child psychiatry. She has been an active team member in the National Mental Health Platform Project in Egypt since 2020.
