Dr. Majid Sadeghi

Specialist Psychiatrist

Dr. Majid Sadeghi is a qualified psychiatrist with over 35 years’ of experience in the field of psychiatry. He has extensive knowledge in the evaluation and management of all kinds of psychiatric disorders and issues and has experience in dealing with inpatients and outpatients in private clinics and state hospitals.

In 1984 he completed his MD from Tehran University-Iran and gained the Board of Psychiatry from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 1987.
He achieved his designation as a Board-Certified Psychiatrist from the National Iranian Board of Psychiatry.

Along with clinical experience in the assessment and management of all categories of psychiatric disorders, Dr. Sadeghi also has a history of research and teaching undergraduate medical students and psychiatry residents.

He served as a professor of psychiatry at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Roozbeh Hospital which is one of the oldest and most prestigious academic centers in Iran.

Although he has been a member of many reputed councils and associations, one of his benchmarks was being the Former International Associate Member of The Royal College of Psychiatry.

He is an author of more than 30 papers in international journals and several books on psychiatry, both for specialists and the public.

Dr. Sadeghi is proficient at handling all varieties of psychiatry-related disorders and problems but his area of specialization includes old age psychiatry, anxiety disorders (especially Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), ADHD, panic disorder, phobias, depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis, and psychosomatic disorders.
